Life
I am a New York-based technology writer and editor with over a dozen years' experience. My background includes stints at PC Magazine, where I covered consumer electronics, including the introduction of the first iPhone. Following that, I launched a smartphone mini site at ConsumerSearch.com, a review website. These days I write about software, electronics, and other technical subjects for a variety of publications including PCMag and Lifewire.com.
Over the past decade, I have attended and covered industry tradeshows including International CES, Mobile World Congress, Photo Plus and PMA. I have a B.A in Latin American Studies and an M.S. in Journalism & Technical Writing, both technically from New York University. In an interesting turn of events, my undergraduate alma mater, NYU, acquired my graduate alma mater, Polytechnic University, and renamed it the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in 2015.

Before launching my freelance business, I was:
- A senior editor at ConsumerSearch.com, where I was hired in 2008 to launch its smartphone coverage and build out its electronics and software content. During my time there, I adapted our content strategy several times in response to industry trends, user experience, and new social platforms.
- An editor at PCMag.com (and the now shuttered print edition), where I edited and produced consumer electronics reviews, and burned the midnight oil getting important reviews published including the first iPhone. I also oversaw popular newsletters and new product announcements of which there were an endless amount.
- A freelancer for several clients, including PCMag, Parson's School of Design, and my alma mater, NYU Polytechnic University.
